FRANKLIN -- The Oakmont basketball teams earned a pair of home games Friday, as the Spartans learned their placements in the Central Mass. Division 2 Sectional Tournaments during the Pairings Meeting held at MIAA Headquarters.

On the boys' side, the Big Green Machine was seeded seventh and will host No. 10 Nipmuc on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. The winner of that game will travel to Clinton to face the third-seeded Gaels in the quarterfinals on Friday, March 2.

The Oakmont girls' will also be in action, this time on Wednesday night, as it hosts Groton-Dunstable at 7 p.m. The Spartans earned the third seed in the six-team bracket, while the Crusaders are seeded sixth. The winner advances to the semifinals to play second seeded Uxbridge.

Also in Division 2, the St. Bernard's basketball teams are also playing host to a pair of games this coming week.

On the boys' side, the No. 2 seeded Bernardians play host to the winner of the No. 7 Blackstone-Millvile-No. 10 Uxbridge battle on Friday, March 2. On Wednesday, Feb. 28, St. Bernard's hosts Clinton in girls' action with the winner playing top-seeded Millbury in the Division 2 semifinals.

Monty Tech's girls' were part of a four-way tie in Division 3. It came out of the hat first, so it earned the third seed and possibly two home games in the tournament. It will host No. 14 St. Mary's on Wednesday, Feb. 28, and if the 'Dogs are victorious, they will host either No. 6 Lunenburg or No. 11 Assabet Valley.
