Overlook new student registration

Overlook Middle School will be registering new students who reside in Ashburnham or Westminster entering grades 6, 7, and 8 on Aug. 23, 24, and 35 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please call (978) 827-1422 to set up an appointment to register your child. Please call after Aug. 13. Records to be destroyed

Attention: All members of the Class of 2000 of Oakmont Regional High School.

In accordance with Massachusetts State Board of Education regulations on student records, materials other than the cumulative folder and transcript will be destroyed.

Oakmont Regional High School will be open for new student registration as follows:

Tuesday, Aug. 23 from Noon to 1:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.


Friday, Aug. 26 from 9 a.m. to Noon

The Oakmont-Overlook Marching Spartans will be hosting the world-famous Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps at Oakmont Regional High School from Monday, Aug. 8, through Saturday, Aug. 13.

The Crossmen, a drum and bugle corps from West Chester, Penn., consists of talented young musicians who have been touring across the country all summer, performing in various parades, performances and competitions.

The ensemble will be rehearsing at Oakmont for the week, to perfect their program for the culmination of their summer season. They are preparing for the Drum Corps International World Championships, at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Aug. 11-13.

The practice sessions for the Crossmen are open to the public.
