Kennedy, 52, 495, Route 119 West, West Townsend Charges: Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon WESTMINSTER Monday, July 25 9:38 a.m. Route 2 East — A report of a multicar accident in the eastbound lane of Route 2 at Exit 25 at the junction of Route 2 and Route 140. No serious injuries. 10:02 a.m. West Princeton Road — Report of an attempted breaking and entering. Arrested were Scott H. Baker and Erin Greenleaf. 1:32 p.m. State Road East — Ranor Corp. advises that Harold Swenson Jr. is en route to the business. He is aware that a warrant has been issued for his arrest and is upset. All available units are sent to Ranor. At 2:39 p.m., Swenson is arrested by Worcester PD. Tuesday, July 26 12:24 a.m. State Road East — Officer is out with two parties walking along State Road East. The officer is transporting the parties to the Bread of Life church where they are meeting friends. 9:19 a.m. Newton Road — Resident reports that there is a skunk in her garage. The animal control officer is notified. 11:38 a.m. Main Street — Call comes in from the pharmacy for an allergic reaction to a bee sting. The patient is transported to Henry Heywood Hospital in Gardner. 5:21 p.m. Edro Isle Road — Resident reports that several items had been stolen from his dock. 8:06 p.m. South Ashburnham Road — Driver reports seeing two girls sitting on the guard-rail. Each time a car goes by they stick their feet out. She is afraid they are going to be hit. Officer speaks to the girls and they move on. Wednesday, July 27 6:46 a.m. Route 2 East — Resident calls to report that his wife had been given a package by her brother to bring to her mother in Lunenburg. When his wife opened the package she found money and some type of drugs, perhaps pills. When she realized what was in the package she stopped and dumped the contents out somewhere on Route 2 East. Officer asks the caller to have his wife call back with a better description of the pills. A check of the area by officers turned up nothing. 9:15 a.m. East Road — Resident reports vandalism on East Road. Someone put a rock through a rear window. Report is taken. 1:16 p.m. Ashburnham Road — Ashburnham woman calls to say that she is staying at a home in Westminster due to a domestic situation. She said she is going to court to get a 209A order. She named the person and provided a description of his vehicle. She would like extra patrols near the residence she is staying at. Thursday, July 28 7:12 p.m. Howard Avenue — Caller reports that people are going door to door soliciting for money, selling magazines. Officer responds and speaks to the male party who states that he is an employee of the Universal Subscription Agency based in Las Vegas. The officer speaks with the man’s supervisor on the phone and advises him that you need a permit to sell door to door. Another officer rounds up eight other sales people from the same company that are soliciting in town. One, Keith Dimick, is arrested for operating a motor vehicle without a license. Friday, July 29 3:25 p.m. Ellis Road — Woman calls to report about a speeding vehicle on Ellis Road. She said she was nearly struck by the car and she identifies the driver. Saturday, July 30 2:54 a.m. Town Farm Road — Male caller reports that there is a fight going on between his wife and son and he is fearful for her safety. Officer responds and speaks to the parties. The fight was just verbal. 9:13 p.m. Knower Road — Woman calls to report a domestic altercation between her daughter and son-in-law at a residence on Knower Road. Officer responds and discovers that the daughter is leaving the residence for the night. Sunday, July 31 11:03 a.m. Edro Isle Road — Resident calls requesting an officer to report a stolen paddle boat. |
