Ovila "Bill" Gaudet, 72

ASHBURNHAM - Ovila "Bill" Gaudet, 72, of 119 Clarendon St., died Thursday, June 15, 2006 in Mass General Hospital, Boston, after an illness.

He was born Feb. 27, 1934, in St. Paul, New Brunswick, Canada, son of the late Armond and Elmier Gaudet. He was a finished carpenter and a master craftsman for many years in this area.

He leaves his wife of 45 years, Sandra L. (Cuyer) Gaudet, originally from New York; 4 children, John F. Gaudet and his wife, Mary, of Ashburnham, Daniel J. Gaudet and his wife, Cindy, of Fitchburg, Denise M. Gaudet and her fianc, David Caouette, of Fitchburg, Ronald J. Gaudet and his fianc, Kim Ricord, of Winchendon; brothers and sisters, Doris and Leonel Leger of Moncton, Canada, Yvon Gaudet of Oromocto, New Brunswick, Theresa and Alonnzo Maite of St. Paul, New Brunswick, Rita and Cameille Malliet of Westminster, Bernice and Alcid Cormier of Quebec, Canada, Armond and Kathy Bastarache of Butouche, Canada, Autte McCaie of Gardner, Oscar Gaudet of Fitchburg, Guy Gaudet of St. Paul, New Brunswick, Philias Gaudet of St. Paul, New Brunswick; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends
