Robert Petersen, 85

WESTMINSTER - Robert Petersen, 85, of Marlboro, formerly of Concord, died on Thursday, July 20, 2006 at Marlborough Hills Health Care, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Concord on Jan. 9, 1921, he was the son of the late Paul and Edith (Jones) Petersen. He attended school in Stow.

Besides his wife, Regina Camber of Derby Line, Vt., he is survived by two daughters, Edith Stabene of Barre, Vt. and Mary Smeltekop of Ashburnham; one son, Robert Peterson Jr. of Gardner; three sisters, Ethel Nichols of Stow, Helen Rainha of Framingham, and Alice Hartwell of Fitchburg; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Paul A. Petersen.
