Irene E. (Wiinikainen) Pakkila, 86

WESTMINSTER - Irene E. (Wiinikainen) Pakkila, 86, of 6 Spruce Road, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Wachusett Manor, Gardner, after an illness.

She was born in Gardner on Oct. 22, 1919, the daughter of the late Viktor and Ida (Silverberg) Wiinikainen. She was a graduate of Gardner High School.

Mrs. Pakkila leaves one son, Richard Pakkila of Georgetown; four grandchildren, Alexander Pakkila, Casey Pakkila, Eric Pakkila and Tina Albano; several great-grandchildren; and one brother, Benjamin Wiinikainen of Gardner. She was the wife of the late Armas Erick Pakkila, who died June 6, 2005; and the mother of the late Tim Pakkila, who died Oct. 5, 2005.
