ONGOING - SEPTEMBER 30 Other  'Historic Treasures Reflect The Storied Past of North Central Massachusetts.' Historical societies from 16 surrounding towns have arranged displays to form a collection never before gathered in one place.  In conjunction with the Applewild School Summer Camp from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Applewild School, Fitchburg, will be hosting an Admissions Open House at the Marshall Lower School Building, 98 Prospect Street. Applewild provides outstanding preparation for girls and boys, grades K through 9 with an average class size of 15 students. SUNDAY - AUGUST 6 Other  Country jamboree fund-raiser from1 to 6 p.m., American Legion, 296 School St., Winchendon. For adults only (18 and over). The jamboree will feature a picnic buffet serving sandwiches, homemade baked beans, potato salad, desserts and coffee; raffles throughout the day; and entertainment by featured bands The Weathered Roads Band starring Sonja Robins, Knight Riderz, and Gary Shanks and Friends. Tickets are $5, and are available at the Music Forum in Winchendon or at the door the day of the show. All monies raised goes directly to Ahimsa Haven Animal Rescue of Winchendon, a non-profit, no kill animal rescue group that takes in abused, unwanted and neglected dogs throughout the state. It is maintained entirely by volunteers and relies on fund-raisers and donations to help the animals. TUESDAY - AUGUST 8 Ashburnham  Free well adult clinic from 10 to 10:45 a.m., Ashley Court, School Street. Sponsored by the Nashoba Associated Boards of Health, in conjunction with the Ashburnham Board of Health. Blood pressure screening available. No appointment necessary. WEDNESDAY - AUGUST 9 Westminster  Summer Band Concert series, on the Town Common, on Academy Hill, from 7 to 9 p.m. free of charge and open to the public. Bring your chairs and blankets, came out to listen to the band, enjoy the nice weather, and socialize. Refreshments are available for a modest fee.

Ashby  Ashby Band concert starts at 7:30 p.m., Ashby Common. The Ashby Band will perform marches, light classical overtures, show tunes, pop medleys, children's favorites and guest artists. Refreshments provided. Rain dates at end of season.
