Westminster Art Show

The "Circle of Artists" plans an art exhibit and sale for Nov. 11 and 12, at the Senior Center, located at the AMVETS building, in Westminster.

Westminster artists are invited to submit one or two pieces for this show. Also, the "Circle of Artists" plan to work with Oakmont Middle School art teachers to select 10 students to display their work. All members of the "Circle of Artists" will also exhibit in this show. Due to space constraints, work must be limited in size and not exceed 36 inches in any direction.

The reception for the show will be held on Saturday Nov. 11, from 4-6 p.m., and will feature music and refreshments. Hours for the exhibit will be on Saturday, Nov. 11, from noon to 6 p.m. and on Sunday Nov. 12, from 12-4 p.m.

Applications will be available by Aug. 21, and may be picked up at the Westminster Library, Town Hall, and Senior Center or call Virginia Krul at (978) 874-0375. All applications must be submitted by Sept. 1.

This will be the first exhibit for this group of artists. Our intention is to encourage art appreciation, and showcase the talent in the town of Westminster, as well in our circle.
