Fireman's Association extends thanks

To the Editor:

The Hancock Veterans Fireman's Association would like to express its sincere gratitude to Cushing Academy for the use of the grounds and to all the local businesses and organizations that sponsored the Fireman's Muster held there on Aug. 5, 2006.

The Hancock VFA was not the only beneficiary of this support. The William Bresnahan Scouting and Community Center ran the food concession stand at the event. It is our understanding that they raised a considerable amount toward their building project.
