Tuesday, Aug. 22 9:01 a.m., Minott Road - Caller seeks information on leash law/restraint law for Westminster, message left for animal control officer. 12:07 p.m., South Street - Citizen brings wallet to station she found in Fitchburg. 12:24 p.m., Academy Hill Road - Caller reports vandalism to Upton building. 5:25 p.m., No Address - Caller reports male party has been standing at the end of his driveway all day, this is a reoccurring problem. Unit 7 reports the male was just out for walk and to read the paper. Party on his way. 5:43 p.m. Brigham Street - Hubbardston PD requests officer to shut down Brigham Street at Evergreen Road for motor vehicle accident in their town. Unit 12 on scene, road shut down. Unit 12 clear. 6:22 p.m., Route 2 East - Party into station reporting motor vehicle accident on Route 2 West between exists 27 and 25, unknown personal injury. Unit 7 reports accident is on Route 2 East prior to exit 28 in Fitchburg. Fitchburg FD notified. A1 on scene. A1 clear. Unit 7 clear, SP handling. 8:09 p.m., State Road West - There will be employee at FLNG plant overnight. If alarms come in, have officer meet with employee. 9:01 p.m., Livermore Hill Road - Caller reports ATVs riding up and down Livermore Hill Road at high rate of speed. Unit 7 in area. Unit 7 clear, checked area, nothing found. Wednesday, Aug. 23 8:13 a.m., Bartherick Road - Detail officer reports one of trucks lost part of its load, workers already aware and making arrangements to clean up. 8:27 a.m., Warner Lane - Caller reports she hit and killed a cat last evening, wants to speak to officer animal control officer regarding disposal of body. 8:28 a.m., Amber Road - Caller reports dog running loose on Amber Road, animal control officer notified, believes dog belongs at 5 Amber Road, described as reddish/sandy collie sized dog. 2:39 p.m., No Address - Caller reports "For Sale" signs knocked over again. 11:28 p.m., State Road West - Fitchburg LNG plant checked and secured by unit 22. Thursday, Aug. 24 9:14 a.m., Miles Avenue - Caller reports most of vehicles on Miles Avenue were egged during the night, states egg carton was found in middle of Underwood Road, vehicles on Ridge appear to be untouched. 10:40 a.m., West Main St. - Caller reports he had smell of wood burning in the house this morning, odor is gone but has no power to TV, states crackling noise from socket. 11:02 a.m., Route 2 West - Report of kids shooting orange paint balls at cars on Route 2 from Turnpike Road area. 1:42 p.m., South Ashburnham Road - Gardner PD reports shoplifter at Hannaford's. 4:43 p.m., North Common Road - Male operator under arrest, vehicle was also at shoplifting scene with a female operator earlier today in Gardner. 7:15 p.m., State Road East - Caller reports a black truck down by the railroad tracks has been there for a while. 8:34 p.m., South St. - North Worcester County Drug Task force. 10:48 p.m., Eaton Street - Female called and said she was assaulted at the VFW. Male named is sitting outside yelling and screaming at people. She is afraid he will hurt someone else. Friday, Aug. 25 4:29 p.m., Main St. - Caller reports about disturbing calls they have been receiving from male in regards to the Yankee Street Fair. Male party is stated to be harmless. He just likes moonwalks. They will speak to him about calling the church. 7:28 p.m., Route 2 West - Leominster State Police reports have male on phone behind a '99 Blue Ford Ranger Pick Up all over the road. Unit 7 Reported owner/operator in custody for possession of a Class D substance. 8:04 p.m., South St. - North Worcester County Drug Task Force. 10:56 a.m., Venice, Fla. - Caller from Venice, Fla., stated person came to her house and beat her up. Has 209A. Unit 12 spoke with officer from Venice (Fla.) Police Department, the party now under arrest in Florida. 12:01 p.m., South St. - Unit 200 reports abandoned rowboats from Crocker Pond were put behind the station. Trying to locate owners. 1:22 p.m., Pleasant Street - Male party at Yankee Street Fair, dropped off by a family member, male is slightly retarded, needs to have family member come get him. Unit 8 has called residence and left message. 6:31 p.m., Hager Park Road - Caller reports large snake, animal control officer notified. 6:46 p.m., Main St. - Caller reports male and female in Room 7 at Roadway Motel having a verbal argument. Party also reports loud banging and items being thrown around. 9:15 p.m., Eaton Street - Loud music reported from behind the VFW. Told crowd to quiet down. 10:46 p.m., 3 Eaton St. - Party reports loud music. Unit 7 reports band is breaking down. Sunday, Aug. 27 1 a.m., Betty Spring Road - Gardner Police Department requesting assistance for a large fight at the Colonial Hotel, near room 625. Monday, Aug. 28 12:38 a.m., Mile Hill Road - Night security reports burglary alarm near rear. Found open door, will be entering main lodge of ski area. Keyholder on scene. Unit 8 reports building re-secured. Alarm coming from snow making area. |
