TEO summer penny drive almost over

Have you heard of TEO?

TEO stands for Townsend Ecumenical Outreach. It grew out of the need to reach out to members of the Townsend community through its affiliated churches. Through TEO there is a network that offers residents help and aid in an emergency.

One of the ways the Townsend community responds to TEO fund-raising efforts is through the annual summer penny drive.

Please be generous when you see the canisters at most Townsend businesses. Your small change or dollars will make a big difference to someone in need.

Crafters sought for annual bazaar

Crafters are being sought for the annual St. John's Bazaar to be held Saturday, Sept. 9, on the Townsend Common. Cost is $50 to rent a table to display your wares. For more information, contact Elaine Walter, at (978) 386-7271.
