Boy Scout Troop 18 fires up new season Scout started and so did Boy Scouts on Wednesday night. The evening was spent preparing the Scout house for a new season of fun. Troop equipment was prepared for the upcoming campouts. Troop 18 camps Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. at the Scout house on River St. All 5th and 6th grade boys are welcome along with their parents to give us a try. We graduated four eagle scouts within the past year. Come meet Dennis Cormier, Scoutmaster; Tom Marks, Assistant Scoutmaster; Greg Snyder, Assistant Scoutmaster; Ken Williams, Assistant Scoutmaster; and a great group of boys and young men 11-to 17-years of age. Those in sixth grade are eligible regardless of age. A few years ago, Bill Mason joined at 14, he made Eagle Scout and is now a captain in the United States Air Force. - Submitted to The Journal |
