ACT 3RD Friday Coffeehouse resumes

A powerful voice of contemporary life, Bernadette is a seasoned songwriter, dynamic singer, and instrumentalist on the mountain dulcimer and guitar. In concert, she has been labeled a "one woman surround sound," performing her own melodic, poignant and raucous songs and poems about anything, including the wonders of love, life and cellulite.
The Ashburnham Conservation Trust (ACT) is excited to announce that the ACT 3rd Friday coffeehouse will begin its 2006-07 season on Sept. 15, at the Stevens Memorial Library, in the center of Ashburnham.

The evening will begin with an hour of open mike performers starting at 7:30 p.m. If you would like to perform on our open mike stage please call Dianne Fichtel at (978) 8276005 to reserve a spot.

Following our open mike, we are very pleased to present "Bernadette" as our first featured performer of the year.

Her CD, "The Raven and I," has met with critical acclaim in the folk world. She has traveled the U.S., Canada, Ireland, Great Britain and Australia performing in venues for all ages. In performance she is a force of life, whimsy, charm and soul; an "experience" not to be missed!

Throughout the evening there will be a tempting selection of baked goods, coffee, and tea available. This is also an opportunity for you to bring your old and unused cell phones (no cords, boxes, or literature) to be recycled. An admission donation of $5 is suggested.
