Arthur Walter Lucchesi Sr., 91

Served in CCC during World War II

WESTMINSTER - Arthur Walter Lucchesi Sr., 91, of 90 North Common Road, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006 after a short illness.

He was the husband of the late Doris (Keisner) Lucchesi.

He leaves one son Arthur Walter Lucchesi Jr., with whom he lived, two daughters Norma (Lucchesi) Carter, of German Town, Wisconsin, and Shirley (Lucchesi) Marciel, of Hanford, Calif., seven grandchildren, and one sister Julia (Lucchesi) Sherman of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Arthur was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Feb. 13, 1915, son of the late Fredrick and Kilbina (Riche) Lucchesi. He was educated and graduated from White Fish Bay Schools, in Wisconsin. Arthur worked for the Water Department for the City of Milwaukee for many years. He served in the CCC, Civilian Conservation Corps, during World War II.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Arthur's name to the Shepherds, 1805 15th Avenue, Union Grove, Wisconsin, 53182-1597.

The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, (www.masciarellifamilyfuneralhomes.net), 123 Main Street, Westminster, Mass., assisted the family.
