Forbush Trustees seek volunteers for search committee The Trustees of The Forbush Memorial Library invite the citizens of Westminster to volunteer as members of a search committee to assist them with the hiring process for the permanent position of Library Director. The intent is to have a group of individuals who are broadly representative of the community. Duties and responsibilities will include four or five meetings. The committee will be composed of five or seven individuals and will be led by a committee coordinator. The purpose of the search committee will be to review and screen resumes, interview potential candidates, and participate in site visits with the library trustees. The search committee will be asked to narrow the field of candidates to three; the finalists will be recommended to the trustees for final consideration. All interested persons should send a letter of intent to the Board of Trustees, Forbush Memorial Library, P.O. Box 468, Westminster, MA, 01473. Letters may also be dropped off at the library, 118 Main St., Att: Trustees, during regular business hours. Deadline for submission is Sept. 25. The Trustees reserve the right to make the final selection of individuals who will serve to assist with the search for Forbush Memorial Library's director. - Submitted to The Journal |
