Saturday, Sept. 30 - Nashua River Rail Trail Day Join DCR and the Friends for a fun-filled day of programs and activities along the NRRT, from Ayer to Dunstable. Bike safety, bird watching, plant identification and various children's activities, including a visit from Smokey Bear, will be available at certain points along the trail. Times and specific locations to be announced.

Sunday,Oct. 8,12:30-2:30 -Kite Flying Day at Pearl Hill State Park. Bring your own kite, or make a kite a tour kite-flyingday! All materials will be supplied free of charge by Friends of Willard Brook. The easy-to make kites are appropriate for children of all ages. Children must be accompanied by adults.
