Fall programs scheduled for watershed association

The Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA) has a program for this fall for those interested in interested in philosophy, land management, loons, or geology. All programs are free and open to the public. Each begins at 7 p.m. at the NRWA River Resource Center, 592 Main Street (Rt. 119), in Groton, MA.

Faith and the Environment, Thursday, Oct.12. Chris Loughlin, Director of Crystal Spring, and a panel of local residents involved in both faith and environmental/ conservation communities will lead a discussion on how faith intersects with care for the environment and create a sustainable community. Crystal Spring launched the Religious Land Conservancy Project, which brings together congregations of religious women in MA with land conservation groups to facilitate economically-viable and ecologically-sensitive stewardship strategies. This program is made possible in part by a grant from the Groton Trust Funds' Lecture Fund.
