Thomas E. Valliere, 64 Was U.S. veteran; resident of Ashburnham

ASHBURNHAM - Thomas E. Valliere, 64, of Stodge Meadow Road, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006, in HealthAlliance Hospital/Leominster, after being stricken ill at his home.

He was born in Leominster, on July 3, 1942, the son of the late Ernest A. and Margaret M. (Dooley) Valliere. He graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1960.

Mr. Valliere went on to join the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War.

He was the service manager at the former Soucy Chrysler Plymouth in Leominster for 10 years and later in the same capacity at the former Twin City Dodge in Fitchburg.

Mr. Valliere leaves his wife of 24 years, Karen M. (Whelan) Valliere

of Ashburnham; three daughters, Brenda L. Cruz and her husband, Izzy of Summerville, S.C., Amy M. McDermott of Fitchburg, and Ann M. McDermott of Auburn; three grandchildren, Celeste Gendron of Fitchburg, and Linda Martin and Christian Martin, both of Summerville, S.C.

The Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli Funeral Home directed arrangements.
