Overlook cross-country teams hail victory
The Overlook boys' and girls' cross-country teams showed tremendous improvement in their met on Oct. 2 as they beat Hale Middle School. In the girls' race Krysta Zbikowski came in first for the first time ever and she ran one of the fastest times ever for an Overlook girl. Jennifer Burke also ran an excellent time coming in third. Mary Regan, Colleen Mulligan, Laura Ouellette and Kerry Kupcinskas were all right behind to seal the victory. Sadie Zbikowski, Haley Barry, Meghan Horgan and Allison Durkin all ran their best times. The boys' cross-country team ran away from Hale as Ethan Beaurgard remained undefeated by coming in first four the fourth straight time this year. Sixth grader Derek Andrews was close behind in second as he ran the second fastest sixth grade time on Overlook's course. Eric Ouellette and Time Steussy smashed their best times by finishing third and fourth. Also running their best times and finishing in the top ten were Christian Robichaud, Tobey Belton, Calvin Young, Robin Murray and Eric Fagnant. Also beating their best home course times were Derek Wegner, Steve Streeks, Dave Leblanc, Trevor Gammel, Dan Parish, ethan Barrows, Justin Capone, Den Weiderman, Steve Hilton, Josh Craig, Zach Forgues, elan jackson, Troy Richardson, Lucas Neff, Ben Murphy, Kevin Murphy and Pat O'Connell.
