Call for PSB fact finding committee
To the Editor:

I think the leaders of Ashburnham should wake up and smell the roses. Realize that Ashburnham is getting to be known as the "tax town" with their overrides of Proposition 2 1/2 and their debt exclusions and no doesn't mean "no." On that note when the hardware store was offered to the town for public building for police and fire departments, it should have been brought to a vote instead of wasting money on surveying and time. By now the fire and the police would have a place. I don't think the Public Safety Building Committee should have the right to say "yes or no" on any site. They should be a "fact finding committee." The voters should have the right to vote on which place they like.
