Police hold child safety seat inspection

The Ashburnham Police Department will hold a child safety seat checkpoint on Williams Road on Saturday, Oct. 28 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Officer Nicholas Dalton will be reviewing the installation of the safety seats and asks those interested to schedule an appointment by calling the department at (978) 827-4413. Oakmont Regional High Class of 1996 to hold reunion

Tickets on sale; donations sought for "ACT for Acres" fundraiser The Ashburnham Conservation Trust will host its' major fundraiser of the year, "ACT for Acres", beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at Cushing Academy, 39 School St. This fun-filled event will feature a silent and live auction, complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres, and live music. To donate an item or service to be auctioned, call Paul or Lois Somers at (978) 827-4301. Tickets are $20 each, and may be purchased at the above number, from any board member, or at the Ashburnham Pharmacy.

Ashburnham Council on Aging offers line dancing classes

The Ashburnham Council on Aging, located at One Memorial Drive, offers Line Dancing Classes on Mondays at 10 a.m. Classes are designed to help beginners and returning line dancers. Theatre trip for seniors being planned

Ashburnham seniors are joining together to attend the matinee performance of "A Broadway Christmas" at Theater at the Mount at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10. Transportation is available. Please call the Council on Aging as soon as possible. (978) 827-5000 (discounts are available for early callers).
