Society's annual meeting to be held
A brief meeting and election of officers will take place followed by author and lecturer Michael Tougias. Tougias is a highly regarded guide on historic places and the natural beauty of Massachusetts and the New England area. He is the author of several travel guidebooks. His book, co-authored with Eric B. Schultz, "King Philip's War: The History and Legacy of America's F o r g o t t e n Conflict," will be the focus of his talk. This program is free and open to the public. Funding for the program is through the Massachusetts Cultural Council and the local Cultural Council of Townsend.
