Police arrest Willard Road man for drugs

Ashburnham Police arrested a Willard Road man on Thursday, Nov. 2 for possession and distribution marijuana.

Police charged David A. Arsenault, 54, with possession of a Class D drug and distribution of a Class D drug. Police executed a search warrant around 5 p.m. on his home at 227 Willard Road after an ongoing investigation, said Officer Robert Siano.

Ashburnham Police working with other members of the North Worcester County Drug Task Force seized a quantity of narcotics, money, sales and other packaging materials associated with the distribution process as well as weapons, Siano said.

Arsenault was released on $1,000 bail on after his arrest pending his arraignment in Winchendon District Court on Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Siano said Arsenault was taken into custody without incident.

This is the department's second arrest in town as part of the North Worcester County Drug Task Force.
