Conservation trust prepares for auction,

The Ashburnham Conservation Trust will host the "ACT for Acres Auction" from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at Cushing Academy's Dining Hall, School Street.
The event will feature both silent and live auctioning of all kinds of goods and services, as well as complimentary hors d'oeuvres, wine, beer and other beverages. The Montachusett Players will entertain with live classical music.
A preview of some items to be auctioned includes: Arts: original paintings, nature photography, prints, pottery, quilt, scarf, sculpture, flower arrangements, wooden box
Dining: gourmet dinner for six, tea for two, and restaurant gift certificates; Entertainment: Theatre at the Mount, Center Stage, Gardner Cinema, Thayer Symphony
Heating and Cooking: Jotul woodstove, tripod grill, chimney cleaning; Recreation & Sports: Ski passes, 18 holes of golf with a cart, guided Mt. Watatic hikes, fitness center memberships, Hall of Fame memorabilia, autographed Red Sox baseball and Celtics basketball; Services: Massage, eye exam and glasses, antique clock cleaning; guitar lessons, two hours of live classical music, botanical inventory of property, three hours of professional archival advice, music studio recording time, oil change; Travel/ Lodging: four-bedroom condo in Maine, bed and breakfasts, Royal Plaza stay with breakfast, tour of Boston State House and lunch with Senator Stephen Brewer, gasoline.
Other items: Blueberries, apples, houseplants, Panini maker, Crabtree & Evelyn basket.
