TAYSA annual meeting

The Townsend Ashby Youth Soccer Association annual meeting will be held Wednesday, Dec. 6 at 7 p.m. at North Middlesex Regional High School. The executive board welcomes all parents/guardians of participating TAYSA players to attend this annual meeting. We will be reviewing this year's past events, looking ahead to next year and electing/appointing some board positions. Townsend Ashby Youth Soccer Association Spring 2007 Registration is open until Wednesday, Jan. 31. We will have registration for the spring season on two Saturdays, Jan. 6 and 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at North Middlesex Regional High School. The fee is $45/player. A late fee of $15/player will be added for any registration received after Jan. 31. Also, placement on a team for a late registered player will be on an available only basis. This registration notice also applies to any high school level player. Winter baseball clinic offered at Fitchburg State College

Fitchburg State College will host a sixweek Spring Training 2007 baseball program for players in grades 1 through 12 from Jan. 21 to Feb. 25. Fitchburg State head coach Pete Egbert will direct the program in conjunction with Midwest Baseball Academy. Sessions are offered in advanced hitting and pitching at a cost of $98 for six weeks.
