Midget squad takes second place

The Oakmont Pop Warner Midget cheering squad took second place at the Regional competition on Nov. 25. The group of 23 seventh and eighth grade girls competed against

The group performs a 2.5-minute routine with a mixture of music and cheering.

They will be competing at the Pop Warner National competition in Florida on Friday, Dec. 8.

This is the first time that an Oakmont Pop Warner cheer team or football team is going to the national competition.
