2:02 a.m., New Ipswich Road-Resident reported a loud
bang. Officer responded and found several mailboxes
smashed. Incident is under investigation. Anyone with information
related to this case is asked to call the Ashby Police
Department at (978) 386-5652.

police and EMS responded.
12:07 p.m., Hosmer Road- Resident reported a speeding

officer. Officer responded.
3:32 p.m., Wares Road- Report of child on go-cart. Officer

were shooting across her property line. Officers responded
and investigated. No violation found.

12:27 p.m., Watatic Pond Road- Resident reported a vehicle
parked at the end of the road making access to Route 119
dangerous. Officer responded and vehicle removed.
6:18 p.m., New Ipswich Road- Resident requested ambulance
for a possible stroke. Police and EMS responded.

1:44 p.m., New Ipswich Road- Neighbor dispute. Referred
to Board of Health.
3:11 p.m., Ashby Elementary School- Alarm Activation,
officer responded and found two unlocked doors. Building
secured.
3:21 p.m., Piper Road- Resident reported missing firewood.
Report taken.
3:38 p.m., Bennett Road- Resident reported a tree limb
across power lines. Unitil notified.
4:54 p.m., Elliott Road- Resident requested ambulance for a
person who passed out. Police and EMS responded.
11:11 p.m., Pillsbury Road- Resident reported her juvenile
daughter left the house without her permission. Officer
responded, juvenile returned. Referral made to proper
agency.

door selling meat out of his truck; party was informed of

to speak to party.

gas cards.
8:32 p.m., Main Street - Unit 7 reports open door leading to basement at
the new strip mall behind Joe's Bistro; will notify Joe.

8:15 a.m., Academy Hill Road - Person into station to report tree down in
middle of road; tree removed.
9:07 p.m., Route 140 North - Gardner PD reports erratic operator; nothing
found.
9:08 p.m., Narrows Road - Caller reports party on Wyman Public Beach
with small fire; area checked, nothing found.
Saturday, December 2
2:44 a.m., Route 2 East - Gardner PD reports they are looking for a
black vehicle that struck guardrail on Route 2 East, heavy damage to
guardrail.
10:56 a.m., East Road - Caller reports telephone pole number 27 on East
Road is on fire; Engine 1 enroute.
3:25 p.m., 10 Church St. - Caller reports female party struck fire hydrant
with her vehicle; no injuries but shaken up.
4:45 p.m., South Street - Party into station reporting someone hit deer on
South Street near town line; Hubbardston PD notified.
7:14 p.m., West Main Street - Caller requesting officer to his residence
for intoxicated female party who will not leave; Unit 10 requests Smiley's
Taxi to residence for transport.
9:27 p.m., Sargent Road - Caller reporting his vehicle was stolen from
parking lot at McNally's. Party reports he left the car's doors unlocked and
the keys in the console.
11:29 p.m., Waterman Lane - Report of car fire and woods on fire; fire
extinguished.

2:42 p.m., Frog Hollow Road - Caller reports gunshots in the woods,
report there is target practice going on at the gun club; party was called
back and advised of target practice in area.
4:58 p.m., Turnpike Road - Caller reports keys locked in her car with her
two dogs inside.
