Local students gather to help Battered Women's Resources shelter

For the sixth year in a row, the students of Team 8A from Overlook Middle School participated in a gift-giving project for the Battered Women’s Resources Inc. in Leominster and Gardner.

Battered Women’s Resources services women and children from many of the surrounding communities. The center, using all the donations they receive, runs a Holiday Store where the mothers come in and “shop” for their children. The students brought in winter coats, hats, mittens, sweatshirts, and a variety of toys from dolls to sports equipment.
