Anna M. Wilson, 83
Was longtime resident of Westminster

WESTMINSTER — Anna M. (Esposito) Wilson, 83, of Wilson Drive, died Friday, Dec. 14, 2006, in the HealthAlliance Hospital/ Leominster.

She was born on May 2, 1923, in Naples, Italy, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Vincenza (Aversa) Esposito. She came to this country and settled in Westminster in 1946.

She was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Parish where she was active in their Women’s Guild several years ago. She was also a member of the Westminster Friendship.

Mrs. Wilson leaves her husband of 60 years, Ernest C. Wilson of Westminster; two daughters, Jane Carney and her husband Timothy of Gardner and Diane Ruksnaitis and her husband William “Rocky” of Westminster; two grandsons, Benjamin Carney of Ashburnham and Luke Ruksnaitis of Worcester; four granddaughters, Lauren Greb and Leanne Greb both of Westminster and Deana Holt and Erica Shann both of Bay City, MI; four great-granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and several nephews and nieces. She was the eldest of nine children and leaves two sisters and three brothers in Italy. She was predeceased by a son, S. Victor Wilson, who died in 2003.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038-1131 or to the Mount Wachusett Community College Foundation Students in Need Fund, 444 Green St., Gardner, MA 01440.

The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer- Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes directed arrangements.
