Local student named to Northfield Honor Roll
      Martin Shedd, of Ashburnham, was named to the academic honor for the fall term of his senior year at Northfield Mount Hermon School in Gill. Northfield is an independent boarding school established in 1879, which enrolls 631 students this year.

First business under new zoning ready to open

      The house at 78 Main St. in Ashburnham is small and unassuming, but it boasts a robust history to which another chapter is being added. The house has seen many uses over the last 200 years, and is now the first business to operate on Main Street under the new Village Center zoning district.
