Police warn of drunk-driving patrols

The Ashby Police Department wants to remind everyone to drive safely this holiday season. The APD is participating in the “You Drink, You Drive, You Lose” enforcement mobilization, which means extra patrols will be on the streets during the New Year’s celebrations.

Alumni day scheduled

The North Middlesex Regional High School’s Guidance Department is sponsoring Alumni Day on Thursday, Jan. 4 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m

Internet safety lesson for adults

The North Middlesex Regional School District is hosting an event sponsored by the Townsend Police Department to notify our community about the dangers of the Internet. Come join Katelyn LeClerc from the Attorney General’s Office, and Detectives Girard and Greathead at Hawthorne Brook Middle School in Townsend. There will be a discussion on Internet safety, including how to monitor your child’s activities, understanding computer safety, and what signs to look for before an incident happens. The event will be held on Monday Jan. 8, at 6 p.m.
