Dorothy Elaine (Dudding) Piper Foster, 64
Loved her family, camping and craft-making
WESTMINSTER — Dorothy Elaine (Dudding) Piper Foster, 64, of 47 State Road West, died Sunday, Dec. 24, 2006, in her home, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on April 4, 1942, in Salem, Va., the daughter of the late Ezra and Rebecca (Bobbitt) Dudding and lived here for most of her life.

She was employed at the former Digital Equipment Company in Westminster as a computer technician and later as a secretary for 18 years, retiring in 1995.

Mrs. Foster attended the First Congregational Church of Westminster, was a 1960 graduate of Andrew Lewis High School in Salem, Va. and attended Mount Wachusett Community College, Gardner. Besides her family, she loved camping, painting, crafts, and scrapbooking.

She leaves her husband of 20 years, Edward W. Foster; two sons, Donald E. Piper of Gardner and Jeffrey Scott Foster, and his wife, Cindy, of Fitchburg; two daughters, Lynnette Simoneau, and her husband, Randy, of Ashburnham and Tammy Lynn Mitchell, and her husband, Randy, of Peru, Indiana; one brother, Joseph Dudding of Salem, Va.; four grandchildren, Shiela, David and Skye Piper and Daniel Simoneau; and seven stepgrandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Clifford Piper of Fitchburg in 2006 and Christopher T. Foster of Orlando, Fla. in 2002. She also was predeceased by four brothers and four sisters

The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home directed arrangements.
