Jessica Delduca has many jobs on Team 6A. She delivers the attendance, tutors other students, and is very involved with “Circle of Friends.” Her impeccable manners and her eager and enthusiastic nature are other ways she serves as a great role model. Aside from balancing soccer, band, and school work, Jessica has also found time to help with Breast Cancer Research with her own lemonade stand in her neighborhood.

Team 6A is very thankful for the helping hands of George Conden. Students in the Achieve classroom find him easy to talk to and beyond helpful in all types of situations. It may be playing trumpet in the school or church band, or balancing various sports activities, but George has got it all together.

Without anyone asking her to, Rachel Brutvan gathered all the work and books for a student who was out of school for an extended period of time. This is just one example of why Team 6B feels so lucky to have her as a student. The SOAR Committee and her youth group at Saint Edwards

Church are others that are grateful for her positive attitude. To round out this amazing young lady would be the many sports teams she participates with, they too are extremely proud of Rachel.

Nick Dudley is the kind of student every teacher wishes for, according to his teachers. This is a quote from one of the teachers on Team 6B. He is always helping others without being asked and constantly shows great sportsmanship in all he does, not just on the basketball court. Nick has been known to compliment his classmates and congratulate them on a job well done. These are just a few great examples of how self-motivated and personable Nick is.

The contagious smile of Jim Grenier is a welcome addition to Team 7A. He maintains a positive attitude and always seems to try his best. These attributes come to the surface on the SOAR Committee and, especially, in peer mediation, both of which Jimmy is an active member. The Overlook Middle School television station WETV finds Jimmy to be an irreplaceable part of their crew, and his “tinkering” abilities always come in handy.

The fact that Mary Kate Erickson is happy to give up homework TAP to attend the group “Circle of Friends” speaks volumes about her. Along with being an active member of the SOAR Committee and working tirelessly on the Yearbook Staff, her creative nature surfaces which makes Team 7B very proud. Mary Kate loves to act, sing, dance, and show off her trampoline skills to friends and family.

Her confidence and respect for others makes everyone love to be around Jenay Leger, Team 8B could not be more proud of her. She is consistently a hard worker, and always eager and enthusiastic in everything she does. Her time spent on the Spirit Council, as well as her weekly appearance on Overlook Middle School’s live television broadcast show WETV, will no doubt be an integral part of her future whether at Monty Tech or Oakmont Regional High School.

Brittany Mei and her positive attitude are always a great way to start the day when entering the Main Office. However, it’s Team 8A who is lucky enough to enjoy her every day in class. On the field hockey field, she shines with the same 110 percent effort she puts into everything else she does. Brittany is a great asset to the Overlook Middle School community.
