Resident wants citizens' signature on petition

To the Editor: Chapter 40B is the Massachusetts "affordable" housing law which allows developers to override all local zoning as long as they build 25 percent of the units as "deeded affordable." Most people who live near these proposed or completed high-density developments have come to know the law quite well. Local zoning bylaws are overridden by Chapter 40B.
