Local student studies in Ireland

Nicholas Smith, son of Paul and Nora Smith of Ashburnham, is spending the spring 2007 semester studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland through a program run by Saint Michael's College. Smith is a student in a program in Peace & Conflict Studies. He is a sophomore history major at Saint Michael's, a liberal arts, residential Catholic college located in the Burlington area of Vermont.

Smith is a graduate of Oakmont Regional High School.
