Resident seriously injured in ATV accident

Ashburnham resident Harry Clermont, 66, was injured in snowmobiling accident on Sunday, Jan. 28 near Stodge Meadow Pond.

Ashburnham and Ashby police officers and fire departments responded to the accident. A LifeFlight helicopter transported Clermont to UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester with visible serious injuries.

The accident is under investigation by the Massachusetts Environmental Police.
