Was resident of Leominster; loved to cook and travel

WESTMINSTER - Barbara Doreen (Jenkins) Young, 57, of 23 West Hill Drive, died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, at Heywood Hospital, after an illness.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1949, in Stow, the daughter of the late Stuart and Sophia (Chumra) Jenkins. She was a 1967 graduate of Nashoba Regional High School, and attended one year at the Rhode Island School of Design.

Mrs. Young worked for the Entwhistle Co. of Hudson, as a technical inspector. She had lived in Milford, N.H. for several years prior to moving to Westminster. She loved to cook and travel. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She leaves her children, David Jenkins of Clarksville, Tenn., John Young of Brookfield, Marie Young of Greencastle, Ind., and Robert Young Jr. of Hudson; nine grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Michael Jenkins of Cary Ill., Heather Cziria of Marlborough, and Stanley Jenkins of Munson. She was the wife of the late Robert Joseph Young, who died in June, 1999.

Funeral services and burial are private. The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer- Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes directed arrangements.
