Joseph E. Tomkowitz, 51

ASHBURNHAM - Joseph E. Tomkowitz, 51, of 238 Winchendon Road, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at UMass Memorial Healthcare, Worcester, after a long illness.

He was born in McKeesport, Pa. on Dec. 18, 1955, the son of the late Walter and Albena (Stroka) Tomkowitz. He was a 1973 graduate of McKeesport High School, and a 1977 graduate of Alleghany College with a Bachelors' degree in Psychology.

Mr. Tomkowitz was a computer consultant who owned and operated the Unlimited Technology Co. with his wife.

He will be remembered as being the most unique human you could have known. He was loved by all who knew him; he was a very forgiving and generous man with a great heart and loved life.

Mr. Tomkowitz leaves his wife of 12 years, Danielle M. (Smith) Tomkowitz; they were married on Dec. 2, 1994; one son, Jesse Dinneen, and one daughter, Stephanie Cobleigh both of Ashburnham; one brother, Richard Tomkowitz of McKeesport; his stepfather, Lou Novak of McKeesport; his mother-in-law, Bonnie Smith of Sebastian, Fla.; his former wife, Carol Poleno of New Castle, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins in Pennsylvania.

A memorial service to celebrate Joseph's life will be held on April 14, at 1 p.m. in the Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, (www.masciarellifamilyfuneralhomes.net), 123 Main St., Westminster. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be private in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua, N.H.
