      Westminster Advisory Board Member Keith Harding made a good point during the Feb. 6 tri-board meeting, but he missed the bigger picture. Harding is right that the Ashburnham- Westminster Regional School District needs to take a hard line with their negotiations with the teachers' union.

      To the Editor: I read a recent article (Front page, Gardner News, February 7) about the Ashburnham-Westminster Regional School District members discussing the upcoming school contract with the union. It was stated that the highest line items were contractual obligations.
