The Ashburnham Habitat for Humanity Local Project Committee considers their fundraiser on Saturday night at the Ashburnham Rod & Gun Club a great success.
The roasted pork dinner was held on Saturday, Feb. 10 to raise money to build the Habitat for Humanity house on Sherbert Road for the McSparren family.
The club in conjunction with members of the local Habitat committee planned a wonderful roast pork dinner. The committee would especially like to thank the Rod & Gun Club for helping out, in so many ways, to put together such a successful fundraiser. Also, a special thanks to state Sen. Robert Antonioni (D-Leominster) and Ashburnham Selectman Christopher Gagnon for attending the dinner.
About 150 tickets were sold for the dinner and many donations to the project were also made. The committee also had some exciting door prizes and raffles thanks to a few anonymous donors, including a candle set, a pork loin, a Valentine's Day basket, and gift cards to Dunkin Donuts and Mr.Mike's.
