Ashburnham COA announces beginner computer class

The Ashburnham Council On Aging, 1 Memorial Drive, is conducting a "Beginners Computer Class" every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. starting March 7 (please note the change in the date). This is truly a beginner's class for those who have little or no computer experience. No cost to Ashburnham seniors and guests. For information, or to register, please call (978) 827-5000.

Oakmont Booster Club presents St. Patrick's Day Tasting Event

The Oakmont Booster Club presents a St. Patrick's Day Tasting Event from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at the Colonial Hotel, 625 Betty Spring Road, Gardner. The event will feature wine, cheese, fruit and beer samples, courtesy of the Colonial Hotel and Anheuser-Busch & Budweiser. Musical entertainment will be held, courtesy of Cailte Kelley. Tickets are $15 per person.

Also, those who wish to eat dinner beforehand may reserve a table for dinner in Carmela's or Papou's Pub or take advantage of a special package for overnight guests which includes dinner for two, room accommodations, and breakfast. Cost is $119.95. (Guests must present event tickets to the Front Desk at check-in or to the Wait Staff - if only having dinner) and The Colonial Hotel will donate 20 percent of receipts to the Oakmont Booster Club. Vendors sought for indoor flea market

Vendors are needed for the March Madness Indoor Flea Market to be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Ashburnham Community Church, Route 12, Ashburnham.

Table space of approximately 10- by 10-foot, with 6 to 8-foot table provided. Spaces available for $15. Set-up will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 2.
