Conservation Commissioner wanted

The Board of Selectmen is seeking applications from Westminster residents interested in serving on the Conservation Commission.

The commission is a seven-member board charged with the administration and enforcement of the Wetlands Protection Act and local wetlands bylaw. A background or experience in the environmental field desired for the applicants.

Position requires a limited amount of fieldwork (site walks), the ability to read plans, and the ability to interact positively with applicants and their representatives.

Meetings are held once or twice a month on Wednesday evenings.
