Daffodil days are here

The American Cancer Society Daffodil Days is in Townsend.

As the first flower of spring, the daffodil represents hope and renewal. To the American Cancer Society, the daffodil symbolizes the hope we all share for a future where cancer no longer threatens those we love.

Items available include a bouquet of 10 daffodils, cost is $7; Bear and a Bunch, cost is $25; and The Gift of Hope, which is a minimum donation of $20 that supports American Cancer Society programs and will enable the Society to deliver bouquets of daffodils to cancer patients at medical centers and health facilities.

Daffodils can be ordered now through Monday, Feb. 26 by calling Faith Wilkinson at (978) 597-2283. Daffodils will be delivered/picked up the week of March 19.
