Community Notes Library cards a necessity at local library Forbush Memorial Library has announced that immediately, borrowers must have their own library cards to check out books or to use library computers. Having your card ready allows library staff to serve you promptly and consistently. For your own protection, privacy, and security, your library card is required in order to access your account. Using your own card indicates you approve of each item checked out on your account. Having your own card handy is necessary to access your personal account on-line, and to access any on-line databases that may be available. If a card is lost or stolen, report this to the library immediately so that a block can be put on the card in its computer system. For information, call (978) 874-7416.
