Lorraine F. Antos, 74 BAYONNE, N.J. - Lorraine F. Antos, 74, of Bayonne, N.J., died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at Bayonne Medical Center following an illness. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Frank and Jennie (Dziczkowski) Serowik, and was a resident of Bayonne for 66 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank, who passed away on Oct. 25, 2006, after 51 years of marriage. She was a life member of the Mount Carmel Rosary Society, a member of the Mount Carmel Guild, and a past president of the Mount Carmel P.T.A. She was also a den mother and Committee Member of Boy Scout Troop 19 of Bayonne. She was the first recipient of the Boy Scout Troop 19 Silver Falcon Award in 1976, and received the Bronze Pelican Award from the Catholic Committee on Scouting for the Archdiocese of Newark. Mrs. Antos was the cherished mother of Jean and Michael Popik of Westminster, Mass., Frank and Donna Antos of London, Ky, and Lorraine and Gerard Carpenter of Waxhaw, N.C. She was also a loving grandmother to Jessica and Justine Popik of Westminster, Stacy, Jacqueline and Kayla Antos of New Jersey, Ashley and Brian Carpenter of Waxhaw, N.C. and Michael and Lyndsey Antos of London, Ky. She was predeceased by her son, John, in 2000, and her brother, Richard Serowik, in 1993.
