The Museum of Science-Boston and the Townsend Public Library present, "Super Cold Science" at 1 p.m. in the Great Hall of Memorial Hall. New Englanders are no strangers to the cold. "(Who's Got The) Button Crafting Workshop" will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Fitchburg Art Museum, Merriam Parkway. Taught by Sally Cragin. Learn how to make flowers, jewelry, decorations and even animals with buttons. The museum will provide supplies, findings and "button-themed" snacks although participants are urged to bring their own collection to make unique heirloom crafts. A Team Captains Meeting for the Greater Gardner Relay for Life will be held at 6 p.m. at Westminster Elementary School.
