Friends of Seniors create plans for the upcoming year

The Friends of the Townsend Seniors would like to announce the newly elected officers for 2007: Bill Roberts-President, Donna Miller-Vice-President, Russ Moore and Pauline Bradt-Secretary.

The club also would like to announce its involvement in the Taste of Nashoba to be held March 27 at Lawrence Academy. Tickets are $17 and $20 at the door. The Friends will receive back $5 donation for each ticket sold. Tickets can be purchased at the Townsend Senior Center or contact Russ (978) 597-0204. It is an all you can eat night with wine tasting also featured. Plans are underway for another trip to the Mohegan Sun scheduled Thursday April 12, as well as the International Dinner at the VFW on Friday, April 27.

Members are working on a raffle for a Four-Some Golf Certificate at the Townsend Ridge Country Club as well as a 1-20 Club also in the offering. More details later for these events. Don't forget to send in your membership dues. Contact Loretta (978) 597-5596 or Connie (978) 597-5420.
