Tournament preview

Three local high school basketball teams will discover who they will be playing in the postseason today, as the MIAA will announce the Central Mass. Tournament pairings at its Franklin headquarters at noon.

Oakmont's boys' and girls' basketball teams are both qualified for the Division 2 bracket, while the Monty Tech girls' are expected to be a high seed in Division 3, which is expected to have upwards of 19 teams included and possibly two play-in games early next week.

In addition, the St. Bernard's boys' and girls' basketball teams, the defending Division 2 champions, have also qualified.

Team rosters were due to the MIAA last Friday. The tournament is expected to begin early next week.
