Forbush Memorial announces recent library purchases

In response to recent suggestions for library purchases, the following have arrived at Forbush Memorial Library, 118 Main St., Westminster. For history buffs: "Hitler's Beneficiaries" by German historian Gotz Aly about how the economic workings of the Third Reich changed our understanding of why ordinary Germans supported the Nazi state. For matters concerning the family: "The Proper Care and Feeding of Marriage" by Psychologist Dr. Laura Schlessinger might be of interest for anyone who has had wrangles with his/her significant other. With over 68 million dogs that are part of the American family life, "Cesar's Way, the Natural Everday Guide to Understanding and Correcting Common Dog Problems" by Cesar Millan will help the reader to understand how dogs respond to exercise, discipline, and affection (in that order). Finally, for the crafters and chefs among us have requested "Knitting with Ribbon Yarn" by Tracy Chapman, "The Complete Mosaic Handbook" by Sarah Kelly, "Southern Living: Our Readers Top-Rated Recipes" compiled by Jane E. Gentry, and "Vegetarian Times Complete Cookbook" by the Editors of Vegetarian Times.

For more information, call the library at (978) 874-7416.
