Book Discussion Group to meet

The Townsend Public Library is holding a Book Discussion Group at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, in Room 1 of Memorial Hall. The group will be reading and talking about "Anybody Out There?" by Marian Keyes. Open to adults; stop by the library to sign up and pick up a copy of the book. For information, call (978) 597-1714.

Parent-Student Discussion Group to meet

The Parent-Student Book Discussion Group will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, in Room 1 of Memorial Hall. The group will be reading and talking about "The Fire Within" by Chris D'Lacey. When David moves in with Liz and her 11-year-old daughter, Lucy, he discovers a collection of clay dragons that come to life. David's own special dragon inspires him to write a story, which reveals the secrets behind a mystery. In order to solve the mystery and save his dragon, David must master the magic of the fire within, not only with his hands but also with his heart. This group is open to 4th- and 5th- graders and their parents. Stop by the library to sign up and pick up your copy of the book; refreshments served. For information, call (978) 597-1714.
