Book Discussion Group to meet

The Townsend Public Library is holding a Book Discussion Group at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, in Room 1 of Memorial Hall. The group will be reading and talking about "Anybody Out There?" by Marian Keyes. Open to adults; stop by the library to sign up and pick up a copy of the book. For information, call (978) 597-1714.

Parent-Student Discussion Group to meet

The Parent-Student Book Discussion Group will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, in Room 1 of Memorial Hall. The group will be reading and talking about "The Fire Within" by Chris D'Lacey. When David moves in with Liz and her 11-year-old daughter, Lucy, he discovers a collection of clay dragons that come to life. David's own special dragon inspires him to write a story, which reveals the secrets behind a mystery. In order to solve the mystery and save his dragon, David must master the magic of the fire within, not only with his hands but also with his heart.
